The EREBUS project provides opportunities for PhD students who are already funded by the ESRC to do a short term placement away from their normal place of research. Small grants will be given for activities such as empirical data collection, collaboration with another university, company or validation of results. Awards will be made to students working in the EREBUS’ priority areas (finance, health technologies and energy) and have a connection to the West Midlands and SMEs. The award is intended to meet additional expenses incurred whilst on placement.
